The 2025 NFL free agency period is slowly approaching, with just five-and-a-half weeks until players with expiring contracts can hit the open market.
Teams all around the league, including the Miami Dolphins, have between now and the March 12, 4 p.m. Eastern start to the new league year to work out contract extensions or use the franchise/transition tag on players – or decide to let them hit free agency.
The Dolphins have 32 players who may become free agents – including the restricted and exclusive rights free agents. Every year, we take a closer look at Miami’s expected free agents, breaking down what they did for the team, what they could do in the next season, and whether we think the Dolphins should re-sign them, tag them, or allow them to hit free agency.
Our second played in the 2025 edition of our annual “Walk, Tag, Re-Sign” series is tight end Jack Stoll. After a look at Stoll’s 2024 season, and my thoughts on what the Dolphins could do with him in 2025, you will have a chance to vote on what you think the team should do. Feel free to also head to the comments to discuss Stoll’s role with the club.
