The Detroit Lions face uncertainty at defensive tackle this offseason, with Alim McNeil recovering from a torn ACL and Levi Onwuzurike set to become a free agent. To address this, the Lions may turn to the free agent market.
According to Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox, the Lions are predicted to sign Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle B.J. Hill. Despite the Bengals’ struggles in 2024, Hill was a solid contributor, making 56 total tackles, including seven tackles for loss, and 32 pressures.
Hill’s ability to impact both the run and pass makes him a good fit for the Lions, who need improvement in their pass rush and run defense. While not a high-profile signing, Hill would bring stability to the Lions’ defensive tackle rotation.
