The New England Patriots have officially begun their search for a new head coach, and according to NFL insider Lazar, the team has identified several top candidates for the job.
In a recent report, Lazar revealed that the Patriots have narrowed down their search to eight candidates, each with their own unique strengths and qualifications.
At the top of the list is Mike Vrabel, a former Patriots linebacker and current head coach of the Tennessee Titans. Vrabel has a proven track record of success, leading the Titans to multiple playoff appearances and earning a reputation as one of the top young coaches in the league.
Other candidates on Lazar’s list include Ben Johnson, the Detroit Lions’ offensive coordinator, and Brian Flores, a former Patriots assistant and Miami Dolphins head coach. Johnson is known for his innovative and aggressive approach to offense, while Flores is a defensive specialist with a strong track record of success.
The Patriots are also reportedly considering Joe Brady, the Buffalo Bills’ offensive coordinator, and Adam Stenavich, the Green Bay Packers’ offensive coordinator. Both Brady and Stenavich have been praised for their ability to design and execute effective game plans.
Rounding out Lazar’s list are Todd Monken, the Baltimore Ravens’ offensive coordinator, Liam Coen, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offensive coordinator, and Aaron Glenn, the Detroit Lions’ defensive coordinator. Each of these candidates brings their own unique strengths and qualifications to the table.
According to Lazar, the Patriots are expected to conduct interviews with each of these candidates in the coming days, with the goal of naming a new head coach by the end of the month.
