Mo Salah was spotted running through the streets of Liverpool on Monday, raising hopes that the star might return to action at the weekend.
The Egyptian striker has been a long-term ambassador for Pepsi, previously reuniting with a former Liverpool teammate to film an advert for the soft drinks brand.
And whilst he has missed the last few weeks for an injury picked up while on international duty at Afcon, the latest glimpses of Salah on the streets of the north-west city have raised hopes that he might return to the pitch quickly.
Users on X (formerly Twitter) shared clips of Salah during a film shoot on Monday afternoon, giving rise to the hope that he might return to the team soon.
He was supposed to start filming in the morning, but it was delayed to a 2pm start following Liverpool’s Carabao Cup celebrations, after their win at Wembley on Sunday.
